All nine Community Foundations that are part of the Alliance achieve efficiencies on operations such as technology, accounting , investment management, and other administrative functions, which are handled collectively at the Alliance central office. We pool our assets to achieve the greatest efficiency and return for our donors and residents. Together, we manage more than $148 million in assets and make collective grants of more than $6.6 million each year to benefit our local communities. Donors take advantage of this collective investment power with confidence that the gifts you give are forever earmarked for improving life in the area you designate.
Through even the most challenging times, the Community Foundations are fortified by our alliance.
We support our affiliates, and they have access to the leadership and assistance to ensure that they can always deliver their donors and their community the value they deserve. The Alliance also ensures that we meet The National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations, the most rigorous standards for operational quality, integrity, and accountability.
Working together gives us access to greater knowledge and best practices. Community Foundation Alliance affiliates are able to handle the most complex transactions, and turn unusual gifts into community good, thanks to the experienced professionals who are part of our network. We share and build upon the programs and services proven to work well in our region. The Alliance also connects us to the knowledge and resources of the broader community foundation field.
