Warrick County, Indiana – The Women’s Fund of Warrick County, a fund of the Community Foundation Alliance, is now seeking applicants for charitable projects or activities aimed at improving the quality of life for Warrick County families. Funding of up to $15,000 is available to support a charitable project or program. A Letter of Inquiry is the required first step for submitting funding requests to the Women’s Fund of Warrick County grants committee.
The deadline to submit Letters of Inquiry is Monday, February 5, 2018. All applicants will be notified of the review decision no later than February 19, 2018, and successful applicants will be invited to submit a formal grant application by March 16, 2018. From the formal applicants, two organizations will ultimately be selected as finalists. Each finalist will be invited to give an oral presentation at the Women’s Fund annual meeting in April 2018.
The types of charitable activities that may be supported through this grant program include community development, education, health, human services, and other civic endeavors and activities that will improve the quality of life for families in Warrick County.
Consideration will be given to nonprofit organizations deemed tax-exempt under sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a) of the Internal Revenue Code and from governmental agencies serving Warrick County. Nonprofit organizations that are not classified as a 501(c)(3) public charity may be considered provided the program/project is charitable and meets certain criteria.
